
Amelia Mary Earhart (born July 29, 1987-disappeared July 2, 1937) was an American pilot famous for disappearing during her attempt to fly around the world. She gets mentioned in "Seaplane!" and "Amelia," with "Amelia" picturing her.
Story[]
In "Seaplane!" Linda tries to imagine herself as a pilot to land Kurt's plane successfully and initially imagines herself as Earhart before noting that she died.
In "Amelia," Louise does her hero report for Ms. LaBonz's class on Amelia Earhart, doing a shadow puppet presentation with the help of Tina, Gene, and Benj. Despite becoming discouraged when learning she died while reading about her and doubting that she's her hero, Louise uses her frustrations to complete her project.
