  • The title references the 2006 documentary, An Inconvenient Truth, about Al Gore's global warming awareness campaign.
  • This episode was originally scheduled to air February 28, 2021, before it was moved back a week due to "Romancing the Beef" being pre-empted due to a rain delay at the 2021 Daytona 500.
  • Fox's original broadcast of this episode featured a dedication in memory of Dave Creek complete with a caricature of Creek and his dog Chop. Creek was a character designer on the show who died from injuries suffered skydiving accident in January 2021.
  • This episode follows on from "The Taking of Funtime One Two Three" where it reveals what happened to the Wheelie Mammoth Louise won. The end credits song from the episode is also reprised in a montage making it the first song other than score or the "Sex Music" to be reprised in another episode.
  • Unlike in earlier episodes, the drawstrings on Gene's hooded jacket are now colored in white and are shown swaying about in the first scene.
  • The donations truck that goes by is from "GIVE IT AWAY, GIVE IT AWAY, GIVE IT AWAY, NOW DONATIONS" in reference to the Red Hot Chili Peppers song "Give It Away."
  • Movie posters seen at the stall selling the Wheelie Mammoth; Houston, We Have a Dog Prom, The Tender Butler, A Fortnight in Wippenwallow', Here We Go Again 2: Here We Go Again, Again!, Garden Cop (previously seen in "Li'l Hard Dad"), An Ordeal to Ponder, My Mustache Summer, A Pretzel for M'Lady, Dust Town, USA, Man Fight!, and the real-life The Remains of the Day which Bob picks out.
  • While making up the story of the Wheelie Mammoth being given to orphans, Bob and Linda mention them doing things like "singing about tomorrow". This is an obvious reference to the musical Annie, which features an orphanage and a song called "Tomorrow".
  • The director of this episode, Simon Chong, appears reading a newspaper while manning a stall at the flea market.
  • The song that Bob sings with the kids is "Let's Talk About Sex" by Salt-N-Pepa.
  • Larry Murphy is credited for voicing Teddy on the end credits despite the character not appearing.
  • In the episode, Mighty Animation, who also worked on Diarrhea of a Poopy Kid, returned to provide digital animation cleanup services
