• Table read date: Unknown. Most likely July 28, 2017, as Sam Seder attended the table read for an episode being held that day.
• The title is a reference to the 1970 book by Judy Blume, Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret.
• This is the second episode to focus on Bob's birthday after "The Laser-inth." Both episodes aired within a week of each other in their respective broadcast seasons strongly implying that Bob's birthday is within that week.
• Teddy asks Bob if he received his card from him like he did in "Christmas in the Car." Teddy also mentions he's with his mother who is offscreen while he is on the phone like in "Gayle Makin' Bob Sled."
• The auction website Bob looks at the vintage bacon weight on is called E-Buy, a reference to real-life auction site eBay.
• The establishment across the street from Wrap-topia is called Good Morning Vietnamaste Yoga Restaurants. A reference to Good Morning Vietnam.
• The DVD Linda puts on for Bob is a Banjo movie, previously referenced in "Spaghetti Western and Meatballs."
• The cyclist who hits Jimmy Pesto is the same cyclist that Bob and Tina both encounter in "Teen-a Witch." He again refers to whoever regardless of gender as ma'am.
• The Speedo Guy says "So glad Facebook reminded me it's your special daaaaay!" while skating by the restaurant in Linda's flashback. This seemingly implies that Facebook exists in the Bob's Burgers universe, that Bob has a Facebook account, and that Bob and Speedo Guy are friends on Facebook.
• After making Bob sick and getting him to admit Hugo's work is important, Hugo is so happy he declares that he would have an alcoholic drink that night. This implies that Hugo doesn't drink, or at least not very much.
• Hugo's name for his van "Health on wheels" is a reference to the phrase "Hell on wheels".

Goofs

• When Gene looks in the mirror, his haircut is not reversed like it should be.
• Bob's safe food handling license had never appeared before in the series until the scene where it is first mentioned and is not seen in any later episodes.
• When Sam says "Are you saying washed rag?" he moves his head forward and the lighter gray sides of his glasses temple arm lose color.
• Gene's hair seems to appear how it normally looks when he sees Bob outside in Sam's convertible.
• Jimmy Pesto doesn't appear to be struck at all by the cyclist when he goes past him.
• In the final shot, The Petalphile's sign appears blank.
