Bob's Burgers, sharing the same name as the Bob's Burgers TV series, is the official comics that act as an extension of it, published by Dynamite Comics. It began with a five-issue run, with the first issue released on August 27, 2014. It features two volumes, the first one being the five-issue run, and the second one, featuring 16. Additionally, Dynamite Comics has released comics for Free Comic Book Day and Scholastic.
Description[]
Unlike the show, which intends to keep the art style consistent, every issue of the comic features varying styles, with different artists typically working on unique chapters of one. Additionally, the comics under the volumes also have variant covers done by other artists, and issues feature licensed artwork from fans.
The stories in the comics stray from the canon that the show established, being less realistic and resembling stories told by the characters. Some chapters feature elements that suggest no potential canonicity, like Linda's chapter in the fifth issue of Volume 2, where an enormous octopus wraps itself around the restaurant as she takes a picture with her family.
