— Cherie
|
Cherie is a classmate of Sylvester Stieblitz from his Indian cooking class. She makes her first and only appearance in "The Big Stieblitzki."
She is voiced by Merrin Dungey.
Profile[]
Appearance[]
Cherrie is a woman with a warm, dark complexion. She has a voluminous set of curly hair that parts to the left and rests above her shoulders. It also covers her ears. Her eyes are oval-shaped and slightly angled, and she wears a shade of lipstick similar to her skin tone.
In "The Big Stieblitzki," she wears a long dark brown skirt extending to her waist and reaching her knees. On her waist, she wears a prominent red belt with a golden oval buckle, and she has a white top with a collar that appears to be a dress shirt without any visible buttons. Over this, she wears a pink blouse with two pockets near the bottom. While she appears wearing a pair of shoes from Spare Change Lanes for the majority of the episode, near the end, she has dark-colored flats on.
Personality[]
Based on "The Big Stieblitzki," Cherie appears to have a wholesome sense of humor, possibly similar to Sylvester's. Rudy mentions how she and Sylvester bonded in their Indian cooking class and how ironic it is for them to take the class while allergic to cumin. When she's leaving Spare Change Lanes, she and Sylvester make puns about the dish they'll be cooking next in their class.
She might also be bashful, though her shyness is only apparent when she interacts with Sylvester before leaving after Tina encourages her to ask Sylvester to be her boyfriend—although Cherie tells Tina it wouldn't make sense to do that since they've never been on any dates.
Story[]
In "The Big Stieblitzki," Cherie attends Sylvester's birthday party at Spare Change Lanes. For the Belcher kids and Rudy's plan to give Sylvester an excellent birthday party, they pick her for Sylvester's new girlfriend after his breakup with Vicki.
Relationships[]
Cherie and Sylvester flirting with each other as she leaves his birthday party. ("The Big Stieblitzki")
Sylvester Stieblitz[]
Cherie and Sylvester connected after learning about their cumin allergy in their Indian cooking class ("The Big Stieblitzki"). While she flirts with Sylvester at the end of "The Big Stieblitzki," Cherie doesn't reveal if she had previously romantically thought of Sylvester. When Tina advises Cherie to date Sylvester in the episode, she refuses because they have never been on any dates.
Regular Sized Rudy[]
Rudy's relationship with Cherie is unknown, but Rudy seems to think positively about her based on what he says about her in "The Big Stieblitzki." She's his only option when Louise asks Rudy to pick out any potential dating candidates for his dad—although Rudy doesn't have enough time to put much thought into his dad's choices. Rudy might also believe she is funny, unlike Vicki, Sylvester's latest ex, whom he describes as "the opposite of fun." Rudy and Cherie do not interact in their only episode together, but Cherie flirts with Rudy's dad in front of him.

Cherie being confused by who Tina is and why she's telling her to move in with Sylvester. ("The Big Stieblitzki")
The Belchers[]
Cherie and the Belchers are guests at Sylvester's party at Spare Change Lanes in "The Big Stieblitzki." The only Belcher she talks with is Tina—who acts uncomfortably chummy with her and tries to push for her to date someone. However, Cherie witnesses Louise going on the bowling lanes and making a scene that prevents all the lanes, including hers, from bowling, and she can listen to Bob and Linda telling Louise to get off the lanes. She has no interactions with Gene, but like his siblings, Gene is aware of Cherie due to their and Rudy's initial plans to get Cherie to date Sylvester.
