Dean Habercore is an anthology version of Gene Belcher in an anthology universe created by Tina Belcher in "Sliding Bobs." He's the middle child of Hugo and Linda Habercore and the brother of Mona and Charlize Habercore. He used to work at Hugo's Hot Dogs with his family before it got shut down.
He is voiced by Eugene Mirman.

Appearance[]
He looks mostly like Gene Belcher, except for his hair and face. He inherited his blonde hair from his father and has a hairstyle similar to Hugo's. He also inherited Hugo's cleft chin. His regular outfit is the same as his real counterpart, but instead of wearing a burger costume to promote his family's restaurant, he wears a hotdog costume.
Personality[]
Dean hates attention, and he's nothing like the main Gene Belcher. His father implies that he is extremely timid, and in the past, he tried helping him with his shyness, but it never worked. Similarly, Dean doesn't like yelling and believes that raising his voice even a little counts as "screaming." Despite being shy, he has the same promotional responsibilities as his real counterpart: going outside, putting on a costume, and promoting the restaurant.
Despite hating the attention, he is very polite to other people. When he 'yelled' at his father to stop making the rest of his family pay attention to him, he said "please" first. He also smiled at Bob Belcher and his partner, Ron, when he saw them coming out of their car, and like his siblings, he waved goodbye to them after they shut down his family's business, even adding that he admires them. He doesn't have the vulgar humor the real Gene Belcher has, either. When he tries offering Bob and Ron some hot dog samples, he tells them to "put [their] hands on a weiner," adding "no double entendre intended."
Story[]
On May 5th, Dean prepares to help Hugo's Hot Dogs on this busy holiday weekend and his parents' anniversary day. The middle child hears his father talk about how he wishes to pull his son out of "his shell." Dean barely raises his voice at his father, telling him to stop paying attention to him. However, he immediately apologizes afterward for "screaming." He goes outside in his hotdog costume to hand out hotdog samples to potential customers, but he doesn't expect two health inspectors, Bob Belcher and his partner Ron, to arrive.
Dean tries offering them samples, telling them to "put [their] hands on a weiner," adding that there wasn't a hidden meaning in what he said. Bob and Ron enter the building and introduce themselves to the Habercores.
When Bob and Ron shut his family's restaurant down after confirming that they had been making their hot dogs out of actual dogs, Dean and his siblings wave goodbye to the health inspectors. The middle child also adds that he admires both of them.
