Denise is the ex-wife of Teddy. She treated Teddy horribly and left him for a guy who's into boats. She gets introduced in "Bed & Breakfast," making a non-speaking cameo in a flashback, but she speaks in the present time in "Sea Me Now."

Teddy frequently talks about her and mentions times where she controlled aspects of his life, such as making him use the bathroom outside and commenting on his head looking like a butt, resulting in him always wearing a hat. By "Sea Me Now," Teddy has talked about her so much that the Belchers are familiar with her mistreatment of Teddy. All of them show concern over their friend, so much so that they have all tried to help him get over Denise several times by helping him build relationships with other women.
