• This episode broke the chain of episode order in Season 2, as its production number is not the same as its broadcast number. The only other episode after this to be aired in production order during the season was "Beefsquatch."
• Dr. Yap's name for his jacuzzi is Jacooze, which is a reference to Émile Zola's open letter, "J'accuse ...!"
• The script cover for this episode contains the painting Tina did of Dr. Yap in "Art Crawl."
• Dr. Yap's guitar is named Greta.
• The song sung by Gayle during the montage of her flirtations with Bob is the rock band Blondie's "One Way Or Another."

Goofs

• When Tina asked if Bob is ever coming back, the right temple of her glasses is missing.
• When the camera zooms out when Linda tells the kids not to spitshine the tables, text reading "r to bg" appears on the counter but quickly disappears. This is probably a note from the animatic stage of the episode.
• Gayle says that she always wanted to drive a car in this episode, but later in "Boyz 4 Now" and "The Gayle Tales" it is shown that she owns a car and drives it in the former.
• The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack to Milk that Gayle gifts to Tina was never released on cassette, only CD.
• While skiing, Gayle's hat disappears and reappears between shots.
• When Gayle is kissing Bob after he broke his tooth, the buttons on his jacket and parts of his boots are momentarily off-color.
• Dr. Yap's toolbox and rubber gloves disappear when Bob spits out the cotton balls from his mouth and don't appear again.
