Esther Margaret is the founder of the Esther Margaret Marionette-Odeum seen in "If You Love It So Much, Why Don't You Marionette?."
After catching Louise looking at a puppet in a storage closet, she assigns Louise to work in the tech booth with Dot where she tells her that the puppet was Vladikus which she used before putting it away. Louise reintroduces her to Vladikus in a puppet battle where Louise talks to her through Vladikus and Esther talks to her through another puppet. She reveals that she put her favorite puppets aside in favor of doing easier shows after she got older and they stopped resonating with her.
