Bob's Burgers Wiki

Father's Day is a real-life holiday that characters celebrate on the third Sunday of June every year. Although the holiday first gets introduced in "Crawl Space," the second episode in Season 1 and the second episode overall, an episode has yet to center around it.

Description[]

As there is no episode centered around it and no episode showing the holiday traditions, the information about how characters celebrate the holiday is scarce. However, characters likely celebrate as people celebrate it in real life, like the other holidays mentioned. It's similar to Mother's Day but for fathers. It is a holiday for people to show appreciation to their fathers and everyone else who is one. In "Crawl Space," Louise tells Mr. Frond she and Gene were going to tell Tina that their father died in their apartment's crawl space on Father's Day to celebrate, showing how the holiday prioritizes dads.

People might buy gifts for their fathers on the holiday, which Bob reveals when he suggests Gene should buy him one on the day in "Seven-tween Again."

Like how Wagstaff hosted an assembly for moms and "mother-like caregivers" in "Mom, Lies, and Videotape," Father's Day is also an important holiday for those who might not be fathers but act like one. In "Seven-tween Again," Gene suggests he should buy Gus a Father's Day gift after exploiting him to pretend to be his father and sign him out of Kids Club at the Henry Hackenbush Recreation Center multiple times.
