Father's Day is a real-life holiday that characters celebrate on the third Sunday of June every year. Although the holiday first gets introduced in "Crawl Space," the second episode in Season 1 and the second episode overall, an episode has yet to center around it.
Description[]
As there is no episode centered around it and no episode showing the holiday traditions, the information about how characters celebrate the holiday is scarce. However, characters likely celebrate as people celebrate it in real life, like the other holidays mentioned. It's similar to Mother's Day but for fathers. It is a holiday for people to show appreciation to their fathers and everyone else who is one. In "Crawl Space," Louise tells Mr. Frond she and Gene were going to tell Tina that their father died in their apartment's crawl space on Father's Day to celebrate, showing how the holiday prioritizes dads.
People might buy gifts for their fathers on the holiday, which Bob reveals when he suggests Gene should buy him one on the day in "Seven-tween Again."
Like how Wagstaff hosted an assembly for moms and "mother-like caregivers" in "Mom, Lies, and Videotape," Father's Day is also an important holiday for those who might not be fathers but act like one. In "Seven-tween Again," Gene suggests he should buy Gus a Father's Day gift after exploiting him to pretend to be his father and sign him out of Kids Club at the Henry Hackenbush Recreation Center multiple times.

Trivia[]
- The reason why no episode has been about the holiday might be because of the airdate of every season. Except for Season 7 and Season 15, all seasons end in May, making it out of place to air an episode themed on the holiday. However, The Great North, a similar show on FOX created by some of the writers of Bob's Burgers, aired a Father's Day episode on May 22, 2022.
- In "An Indecent Thanksgiving Proposal," Louise reveals she wants the holiday to occur every day. However, she was putting on an act and likely not telling the truth.
- The holiday rankings Louise made in "An Indecent Thanksgiving Proposal," with some input from Tina and Gene, suggest it's not one of their favorite holidays, ranking lower than Thanksgiving, their least favorite holiday mentioned in their rankings.
- Since The Bob's Burgers Movie was still in theaters around the time of the holiday, an advertisement for the movie featured the holiday.[1]
- The series' promotional images for the holiday often do not include the standard text mentioning when the show airs since the show doesn't premiere episodes around this time. (see File:Facebook Mother's Day Bob 2016.png & File:2016 Father's Day Facebook Bob.png)
- On June 13, 2025, Fortnite added a set for the show with a Bob Belcher outfit for the holiday, in addition to adding one for King of the Hill with a Hank Hill outfit and a Family Guy one with a Cleveland Brown outfit.[2]
