Ginger is Linda Belcher's longtime friend who has been friends with Linda since before she met Bob. She's Linda's BFF, and they are often chatting with each other on the phone. She first gets mentioned in "Sexy Dance Fighting," and later multiple other episodes, and appears in a flashback in "Sliding Bobs" before making an actual appearance in "Clear and Present Ginger."

Ginger is the best friend of Linda Belcher, whom she always talks to on the phone. They tell everything to each other, even overly personal information that might disgust people around them who are hearing their conversations, particularly Bob ("Slumber Party"). Ginger was also there with Linda when she first met Bob and fell in love with him while engaged to Hugo ("Bob Actually").

Despite being an essential friend of Linda, there's something elusive about her due to her having little physical appearance and her face being out of sight in these few cases ("Bob Actually" & "Clear and Present Ginger"). Linda first appears talking to Ginger in "Sexy Dance Fighting."

Ginger is Linda's best friend. Linda often mentions Ginger or is seen talking with her on the phone. Ginger has been Linda's friend for longer than Linda has been married to Bob, and in "Clear and Present Ginger," Linda states that she is "very special" to her. The two live 82 miles apart and always look forward to seeing each other when they get a chance.
