Holly

Holly^[1] is the ex-wife of Sylvester Stieblitz and the girlfriend of Paul. She first gets mentioned in "Carpe Museum," and she makes her actual appearance in "The Amazing Rudy."

She is voiced by Lennon Parham.

Personality[]

Not much is known about her personality. Rudy once told Bob that she "hates fun" ("Carpe Museum").

Story[]

She makes her first appearance in "The Amazing Rudy," where the episode reveals that Rudy and his parents all have dinner together every month. This episode is one of the days when they have their special dinner, but unlike their previous dates, their romantic partners will also join them.

They all plan to have dinner at Plate and Fork, a fancy restaurant a few blocks from Bob's Burgers. At the restaurant, they're waiting for a server to lead them to their table. As they wait, Rudy's mom holds her boyfriend Paul's hand.

Once someone brings them to their table, they all order their food. As the people wait for their food, Rudy begins a magic trick, like the ones Rudy did at every previous family dinner and before Rudy's mom divorced Sylvester. Rudy pulls up a party cup and tells the four other people at the table to confirm that the cup's empty. Rudy's mom verifies that it's empty. Once the cup is passed all over the table, Rudy pours his glass of water into it and secretly puts the sodium polyacrylate into the cup. He chants his magic words and pours the party cup, but it backfires, and instead of going how he wanted it to, it spills a blue clumpy substance. Despite failing, Rudy's mom told Rudy that she loved Rudy's trick. She calls a waiter to get some napkins or towels for the spill. Rudy excuses himself to the bathroom.

After a while, Rudy's mom and his father start worrying what Rudy's doing in the bathroom. Linda calls Rudy's parents and tells them Rudy actually came to their home for dinner. She tells them that Bob will drive Rudy back. When Louise suggests to walk Rudy there herself, Linda calls Rudy's parents again to announce the change of plans.

Louise and Rudy enter the Plate and Fork. Rudy hugs his parents, and his mom asks for another chair for Louise. They all have dinner.

Regular Sized Rudy[]

She cares about Rudy, like how she comforts him in "The Amazing Rudy" after his magic trick fails. However, she doesn't seem to know what's best for her son and she prioritizes her relationship with her love interests (and former love interests) more, even with Rudy's father. The most significant example is how they keep having "family dinners" to seem like a "normal" family, even though it stresses Rudy greatly.

On February 22, 2023, before her debut in "The Amazing Rudy," Brian Huskey revealed that Lennon Parham would voice her in "The Big Stieblitzki."^[2]
