Louise Belcher sums up her personality by calling her a "mean jock girl." Kayla is a gloating overachiever who takes youth soccer seriously and has no problem trash-talking opponents, even the Gold Dragons, who are reputable for playing terribly. However, she is not used to being out-maneuvered by an opposing player, as seen when she messes up a goal due to Louise's "steam-roller" move and gets in a grass-throwing fight with one of her teammates she thinks is not helping her ("The Hurt Soccer").
