Kristen Schaal (born January 24th, 1978) is a rising star in the comedy scene who won Best Alternative Comic at the 2006 Aspen Comedy Arts Festival and the New York Comedy Festival's Andy Kaufman Award. She is also the recipient of the New York Nightlife Award in 2006 for Best Female Stand-Up. In October 2005, she was included in New York magazine's "The Ten Funniest New Yorkers You've Never Heard Of."

Schaal recently completed the run of her two-person show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where she and her comedy partner were nominated for an if.comedy Award.

Her recent live acting credits include Flight of the Conchord" and Dinner for Schmucks.

Additional film and television credits include Modern Family, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, When In Rome, Get Him To The Greek, Valentine's Day, Mad Men, Ugly Betty and How I Met Your Mother, and 30 Rock. She previously played as Carol Andrew Pilbasian Miller on The Last Man on Earth from 2015 to 2018.

Up next from this sassy lady is "The Sexy Book of Sexy Sex," a sex guide co-authored with fiancé (now husband) and "The Daily Show" writer Rich Blomquist.

On February 6, 2016, Schaal won the Annie Award for Outstanding Achievement, Voice Acting in an Animated TV/Broadcast Production for voicing Louise in the episode "Hawk & Chick".

Schaal wrote and directed the faux movie trailer preceding the 2016 Bob's Burgers Live shows at the Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles.[1]
