Kristen Schaal (born January 24th, 1978) is a star in the comedy scene who has won Best Alternative Comic at the 2006 Aspen Comedy Arts Festival and the New York Comedy Festival's Andy Kaufman Award. She is also the recipient of the New York Nightlife Award in 2006 for Best Female Stand-Up. In October 2005, she was included in New York magazine's "The Ten Funniest New Yorkers You've Never Heard Of."

In 2008, Schaal and her comedy partner, Kurt Braunohler were nominated for an If.comedy award for their two-person show, Double Down Hearts.

Schaal's "Comedy Central Presents" special debuted in 2009, and she also served as consultant and writer on South Park. Additional film and television credits include Modern Family, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, When In Rome, Get Him To The Greek, Valentine's Day, Mad Men, Ugly Betty and How I Met Your Mother, and 30 Rock. She previously played as Carol Andrew Pilbasian Miller on The Last Man on Earth from 2015 to 2018.

On February 6, 2016, Schaal won the Annie Award for Outstanding Achievement, Voice Acting in an Animated TV/Broadcast Production for voicing Louise in the episode "Hawk & Chick".

Schaal wrote and directed the faux movie trailer preceding the 2016 Bob's Burgers Live shows at the Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles.[1]

In 2017 Schaal was nomated for a Primetime Emmy award in Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance for her role as Sarah Lynn in "That's Too Much, Man!," BoJack Horseman
