Trivia[]
- E! News considers Bill Hader's role as him as one of the series' biggest guest roles.[1]
- Due to Hader being unavailable to record Mickey's voice for the episode "Beach, Please," series creator Loren Bouchard voiced Mickey in early releases but was later re-dubbed with actor John Kubin to make him "more Mickey-sounding" after many viewers noticed the change.[2] Kubin also voices Mickey in The Bob's Burgers Movie.
- Mickey is one of the few recurring characters not to appear during the end credits sequence of "Glued, Where's My Bob?"
- He's the first character to get arrested at the end of an episode ("Bob Day Afternoon") and get released on their next appearance ("Bob Fires the Kids"). The only other is Fanny in "World Wharf II: The Wharfening" and The Bob's Burgers Movie.
- If "Wharf Horse" and "World Wharf II: The Wharfening" are considered one episode/segment, they're also technically the only characters to get arrested on their debut and released on their next appearance.
- He considers his hands to be small in proportion to the rest of his body.
- According to Gene in "Ambergris," Mickey is 5'10.
- Since "Ambergris," he has worked as a ride operator at Wonder Wharf, although he is not very good at his job.
- He drives a pedi-cab during festivals and on weekends. ("Best Burger")
- Louise thinks he's the "hardest, most ruthless criminal" she and her siblings know. ("Ambergris")
