Ms. LaBonz first appears in a flashback in "Human Flesh" when Louise starts the cannibalism rumors from her show-and-tell presentation. The teacher later appears in the angry mob outside the restaurant in the same episode.

Ms. LaBonz makes her first speaking appearance in "Lobsterfest," where she teaches her class about lobster anatomy during the run-up to the town's lobster festival. She finds out from a nervous Tina about the trade in the library, confiscating all the kids' cards, including Louise's. She keeps them at her house and uses them in a drinking game in her backyard with Branca, Blevins, and Ambrose. However, Tina finds out about her storing them in her home and goes there with the help of Gene, Louise, and Rudy.
