Bob's Burgers Wiki

Trivia[]

  • The title is a parody of the 2002 romantic comedy film My Big Fat Greek Wedding.
  • The reason Bob becomes the chef for Beta Upsalon Pi is because he's filling in for Pepe.
  • Bob comments on how the frat boy's poor sense of hygiene is the reason they have ants. Ant infestations are a pet peeve of Sterling Archer, another character voiced by H. Jon Benjamin and possibly the alter ego of Bob Belcher.
  • Dean Dixon is voiced by Jonathan Katz. In Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist, he voices the titular Dr. Katz, whose son Ben was voiced by H. Jon Benjamin.
  • Bob's karaoke song is "You Oughta Know" by Alanis Morissette.
  • Linda doesn't appear in the third act making it the first time one of the Belcher family is absent for an entire act in any episode.
  • The name of Operation: Spit-take is a reference to the spit-take, a comic technique where a character (often exaggeratedly) spits out their beverage as a reaction to a statement. Tina does this twice in "The Unnatural" when Mr. Manoogian tells her about the freshness of the coffee pot at the Sand Flea Motel and when he tells her that he puts his cigarettes out in it.
  • Reflecting the show's use of a floating timeline, Bob's bank card, which Louise uses to try and gain entry to the Chamber of Secrets, now has the expiry date 12/14 (December 2014) rather than the 12/13 (December 2013) date shown in My Fuzzy Valentine. The card is the same one as the 16-digit number on it appears to be the same.
  • A box of Tran's Noodles can be seen on the Beta house's coffee table when Bob first enters the frat house.
  • Most of the LadyGoods sex toys seen in this episode appeared before in "God Rest Ye Merry Gentle-Mannequins" on sale at Spanks A Lot. The kids used them to distract Sal while Bob grabs Nadine.
  • The script cover shows Bob in a college shirt holding a bottle of alcohol.
  • Dr. Yap calls Tina "Beana" when asking the kids if they are flossing.
  • Final episode to feature the 20th Century Fox Television closing logo graphic with the byline, "A News Corporation Company," following Fox's split from News Corporation in June 2013.
  • This episode has been aired on John Roberts' 42nd birthday.

Goofs[]

  • When Bob is pointing out that there's a upside-down sofa in the frat house, some of the outline of his pants are visible through the sofa Pud is sitting on.
  • Pud is animated saying "dealer's choice," but Hefty Jeff's voice is heard.
  • When Bob opens the doors to the banquet hall the camera zooms out showing that Tina is not wearing the white briefs. In the next shot when Bob confronts Dr. Yap she's shown wearing them.
  • In the final scene, when Bob asks why everybody is holding vibrators, Linda grabs his arm. When the camera cuts to the front of the restaurant, Linda is just standing beside him.
