The Orchard cultists are pretend cultists working for the haunted orchard attraction/hayride at Celtic Farms Historical Apple Orchard. Their purpose would have extended to the hero of the harvest ceremony, but that plan shut down after they realized the costumes could scare kids.

The cultist costumes are tall humanoid creatures with a long white robe, red ribbons, and an imitative horse skull with eyes popping out of their sockets. They adorned their masks with leaves and a scarf of bells.
History[]
While the 4th graders from Wagstaff School are on a school field trip to an apple orchard, Louise Belcher and her friend, Jessica, steer off course and sneak into a barn but are shocked when they discover a barn painting depicting a "hero of the harvest" getting burnt on a pole. That leads them to run back to the group, but they get startled by two people wearing long white robes and large horse skulls with eyes. Louise runs away, and when Bob Belcher catches up, she tells her dad everything. Eventually, it turns out that the cultists were just Brom and Eleanor and other workers at the farm wearing costumes for their yearly haunted hay ride, and everything is okay in the end.
