“ | The smell. It makes me sick! It makes me sick! | ” |
— Princess Angelica Flavia
|
Princess Angelica Flavia is a Belgian princess and harpist who makes her first and only appearance in "Hope N' Mic Night."
She is voiced by Megan Mullally.
Profile[]
Appearance[]
Princess Flavia is an older woman with dark gray hair and a peach complexion that's similar to Mr. Fischoeder. Her height appears to lie below or around Calvin's nose, though her updo hairstyle reaches above his eye level.
In her only appearance in "Hope N' Mic Night," she dresses up particularly formally, in addition to having a rose-colored lipstick on. She wears a black dress with slits running down the sides of her legs and black heels, with a dark gray fur shawl that is just slightly darker and warmer than her hair color. The shawl appears fastened in the middle by a circular golden pin that has a blue diamond shape with a smaller white diamond shape in the center. Additionally, she wears similar golden accessories, with round earrings and a larger round shape hanging underneath what's directly on her ears. She also wears a golden ring on both of her ring fingers. Both of them have a dark blue, oval-shaped gemstone.
Personality[]
Being a princess, she seems to represent the upper class stereotypically in "Hope N' Mic Night," or at least in how they treat public spaces. She points out that the smell of Bob's Burgers "makes [her] sick" despite multiple people also being present there and not appearing affected by it like her. Additionally, Calvin mentions how she's traveling America by private train, showing her privilege in not depending on these areas. Despite this, after she and Mr. Fischoeder perform for the restaurant's open mic night, she reacts positively to later performances, bobbing her head to Marshmallow's and giving Calvin a look of approval to the Belcher kids'.
Story[]
In "Hope N' Mic Night," Princess Angelica Flavia and Mr. Fischoeder perform "Opposites Attract" by Paula Abdul at Bob's Burgers' open mic night, with the princess playing the harp and Calvin playing his piano as they sing.

- “She's traveling the country by private train. And I was hoping to check out her caboose, so to speak.”
In "Hope N' Mic Night," Calvin reveals his romantic feelings for Princess Flavia as he tells Tina, Gene, and Louise he wants to "check out her caboose." He consequently wants to make a good impression on her, like how he appropriately calls her "Your Majesty," as opposed to how he often refers to the Belchers with belittling nicknames related to burgers. He also exaggerates Bob's Burgers' grandness to persuade her to perform with him.
