Bob's Burgers Wiki

Well, I'm gonna go get popcorn. You want popcorn? I mean, I'm not gonna buy it for you. Just, I buy mine at the same time as you buy yours?
— Ramona

Ramona is Bob Belcher's former classmate who moved to Akron, Ohio. She makes her first and only appearance in flashbacks in "Saving Favorite Drive-In."

She is voiced by Paulina Alexis.

Profile[]

Appearance[]

Based on the flashbacks in "Saving Favorite Drive-In," Ramona appears as a teenage girl with a light brown complexion and dark brown, chest-length hair. Her eyes are egg-shaped with three visible lashes on each, and she has a smallish nose that begins midway at her eyes and ends just slightly below them. Her ears narrow near the top and angle away from her face.

She styles her hair in braided pigtails that sit in front of her, which she finishes off with rose-colored hair ties. She has a plain creamy yellow tee and jean shorts that appear cuffed, with the ends of her pant legs appearing distressed. She wears muted magenta tennis shoes.

What she looks like now is unknown, though she'd be around Bob's age because they're in the same classes.

Personality[]

Ramona's aloofness is evident in her character. In "Saving Favorite Drive-In," she reveals that she's moving to Ohio. However, she appears unconcerned by this, not worrying about leaving her former home but being more excited that her mom's boyfriend, Dave, won't be coming with them. Additionally, she only brings this up when Bob points out he doesn't know her last name, telling him that she doesn't need to know it because of her moving. She also doesn't seem scared of heights, as she suggests she has climbed up the business sign of Cosmic Drive-In to watch from there another time before.

Despite having an unconcerned attitude towards things, she appeared to be friendly, mainly because of her friendliness towards Bob, who was insecure about his lack of friends. When Bob implies his insecurity, she tells Bob she'd be friends with him while also joking in the context of the movie they're watching and telling him she would as long as he doesn't land in poop.

She also appears to be clever and sensible, like coming up with the idea of what The Fly is supposed to be about, which Bob believes is more sound than his argument that it's about communism. When Bob expresses that more people should be climbing up Cosmic Drive-In's business sign to watch movies from there, Ramona points out that they can't hear the movie from there, and falling off is also risky. It also demonstrates her indifference to the excitement of being at a great height to watch a movie.

Story[]

Ramona gets introduced in "Saving Favorite Drive-In" as the girl Bob shares a class with but is never close to. She goes to Cosmic Drive-In with her mom and her mom's boyfriend for one of the last trips before moving to Akron, Ohio, with her mom. There, she encounters Bob, getting to know and befriending him.

Relationships[]

Family[]

Her mom[]

Ramona doesn't reveal a lot about her mom aside from her going to Cosmic Drive-In with her in "Saving Favorite Drive-In." Based on the episode, they seem to have a good relationship as they go to the drive-in together, though Ramona didn't like the boyfriend she left when they moved to Ohio.

Bob Belcher[]

She was the first girl that ever talked to your dad.

Ramona and Bob attended the same school and were in the same social studies class before she moved to Ohio. Despite being classmates, they never seemed to be acquainted, as Ramona thought Bob's name was "Robbie," and Bob didn't know Ramona's last name. They coincidentally meet at Cosmic Drive-In, where they learn about each other and decide to watch the rest of the movie together ("Saving Favorite Drive-In").

They likely hadn't kept in contact because Bob only reminisced about his meeting with Ramona at the drive-in. Her last name also doesn't get mentioned in the present events of "Saving Favorite Drive-In," proving that she moved soon after their meeting at Cosmic Drive-In, and Bob never got to learn it.

Bob might've had romantic feelings for Ramona due to Linda's teasing tone when bringing her up, his multiple flashbacks about her, and his excitement in one of his flashbacks when Ramona suggests they can buy popcorn together ("Saving Favorite Drive-In").

Enemies[]

Dave[]

The good news is, my mom's boyfriend Dave didn't get invited to join us in Akron, Ohio.

Ramona makes it clear she doesn't like Dave, and she expresses delight that he can't come with them when she and her mom move to Ohio ("Saving Favorite Drive-In").
