Personality[]
Robert is a friendly, outgoing man who makes easy connections with animals and children. He is attentive to his customers and recognizes people who come frequently.
Similar to Bob, he enjoys doing comical voices. Robert pretends to voice Colonel Fluffles when he interacts with Louise, making the situation lighthearted when Louise makes comments that Colonel Fluffles has aged since she last visited.

The Belchers[]
Robert knows Louise fairly well. He is friendly and kind to the nine-year-old, welcoming her as soon as he recognizes her (it is indicated that Louise hadn't been to the pet store in a while). It is likely that he knows Linda as well as the two would often come into the pet store to play with the puppies. Robert knows that Louise's favorite of the dogs is Colonel Fluffles, and continues to try to lighten the situation after Louise notes that Fluffles has gained weight and his eyes have gotten cloudy since she saw him last.
