The Eighth Season of Bob's Burgers refers to the eighth broadcast and production season. The season started on October 1, 2017 with "Brunchsquatch" and ended on May 20, 2018 with "Mission Impos-slug-ble" and "Something Old, Something New, Something Bob Caters for You."

On October 7, 2015, FOX announced that the show would receive its seventh and eighth production seasons.[1]
It aired 16 leftover episodes from the 7ASA production season and 5 episodes from the 8ASA production season.
"Brunchsquatch" resulted from a fan art competition that began on March 2, 2017, and ended on March 13, 2017. The competition allowed fans to submit their designs for the episode.[2]
