Bob's Burgers Wiki

Trivia[]

  • Table read date: March 31, 2017.
  • The title is a reference to the 1991 movie Sleeping with the Enemy.
  • The plot resembles the Edmond Rostand play Cyrano de Bergerac. Linda and Louise both later mention and pun the title as "Cyrano de Burger-ac" and "Cyra-Yes de Burger-ac" respectively.

  • This episode first aired on guest-star Jenny Slate's 36th birthday.
  • The coffee shop that Dr. Yap meets Bob and Gene in presumably belongs to the same chain as the coffee shop seen in "O.T. The Outside Toilet" as the employees' aprons and baseball caps are identical.
  • The rabbi conducting Tammy and Brett's wedding in Tina's fantasy is the same rabbi who was at Tammy's bat mitzvah in "Mazel Tina," presumably named Rabbi Rosenberg, whom Tammy calls earlier in that episode.
  • On October 10, 2024, rock band They Might Be Giants posted a screenshot of the Pest Control Truck that is a pun on their name ("THEY TERMITE BE GIANTS EXTERMINATORS").
