• The title references both the movies Some Like It Hot and Terminator 2: Judgment Day.
• Last episode in Season 12, and the last to air before the release of The Bob's Burgers Movie, which opened in theaters around the world in the days after this episode aired.
• At the end of the episode, "Man Diner 3's Partner" trips on the crumbling sidewalk outside the restaurant, foreshadowing the events of the film.
• Immediately before airing on Fox, a recap of events from "Some Like It Bot Part 1: Eighth Grade Runner" appeared which this episode follows on from. The recap isn't part of this episode itself and doesn't appear with it anywhere else.
  • Both episodes lampoon scenes from movies including Grease and Blade Runner. These episodes were the last to air in the lifetimes of Grease star Olivia Newton-John and Blade Runner composer Vangelis.

• The number on the access panel of the wiper machine (1120) is a reference to the production code of the episode (BASA20, or the 20th episode of the 11th production season). It is not present in the first part of the finale.
