The Belcher kids and Regular Sized Rudy steal chocolate from a winetasting train when they're seated in a separate car from Bob and Linda. Meanwhile, Bob takes part in a "taste-off" during wine tasting with Rick, a wine-tasting expert on the train.
Full story[]
The Belchers are going on a wine train, with kids being allowed but not encouraged. The kids are entranced by a large chocolate fountain but told by train employee Ethan that kids are not allowed near the buffet or passenger cars, only in an underwhelming "Juice Caboose". There, they encounter Regular Sized Rudy, whose father frequents the trains to bring dates. The kids realize to their horror that they are stuck in the caboose for the next 4 hours. After an attempt to get out through the roof hatch fails due to the roof being heated by the sun, Rudy tells them that the real supply of chocolate is not in the fountain but at the front of the train. Louise decides they should rob it, with the others agreeing.
The kids run through the logistics with Rudy, who has spent enough time on the train to work out the timing. They plan to announce that it is Linda's birthday, as the kitchen car where the chocolate is held empties out when this happens to sing a birthday song. Louise sneaks under the cart which Ethan uses to make hourly juice deliveries, and into the kitchen when the staff exits, leaving her alone with shelves worth of chocolate, which she sneaks out with using the cloth covering of the cart to hold it, and jumping off the slow-moving train. At the same time, as the others wait for her in the caboose bathroom to make the handoff, the chocolatier enters and demands they leave so he can use the toilet. With the other window closed shut, they have to wait in order to pull her up. First pulling the chocolate bag up, the three fall out the window attempting to pull Louise up and wind up on the train tracks.
Rudy tells them that the train will go around a lake and come back to the spot they are at in 15 minutes, but also that Ethan will make his hourly juice box delivery in 15 minutes as well. With the train moving faster than planned, the kids make a run for it and jump back on the caboose (with gene's train outfit overalls being caught and torn on the bathroom window) and hide the chocolate seconds before Ethan enters. As Ethan questions why they are out of breath (and why Gene is in his underwear), the chocolatier runs in to say the chocolate has been stolen. Ethan accuses them and searches the caboose, even ripping up Rudy's beanbag in the process to no avail. As Ethan leaves, chocolate starts dripping from the ceiling, the bag having been placed on the roof hatch. The kids enjoy the rain of melting chocolate.
Bob and Linda enjoy their time in the passenger cars, with Linda tasting the wine and Bob wanting to simply drink it. They meet a wine expert named Rick, who Linda asks to sit with them to taste for the afternoon, to Bob's consternation. Rick's snobbish attitude frustrates Bob to no end, and after a subtle insult at Linda, Bob complains that Rick is not the only one with taste, which only results in Rick calling a 'wine-off". the two are blindfolded and given various wines to taste and identify. With Bob out of his element, Rick arrogantly states that Linda can choose any wine in a bonus round and if Bob names it, he wins the competition. As the two drink, Bob realizes and says to a stumped Rick that it's a blend of wines from the spit bucket, recognizing it due to a time when he drank from one on a dare by Linda. A disgusted Rick throws the spit wine at Bob, and a wine fight ensues on the car.
After the train arrives back at the station, the family is reunited, neither questioning too much why the others are covered in wine and chocolate. As they walk off, the kids notice and wave at Ethan on the train, who sees them covered and chocolate and futilely tries to yell at them.
