Bob's Burgers Wiki

Trivia[]

  • There is no opening sequence preceding this episode. Likely because it aired as the Season 5 finale, airing at 9:30 after "Hawk & Chick" aired at 7:30 on May 17, 2015. The first time two episodes have premiered on the same date.
  • The title is a pun on The Hunger Games franchise.
  • The owner of Spanks A Lot sex shop from "God Rest Ye Merry Gentle-Mannequins" returns in this episode and his name is revealed to be Sal. In this episode he wears a red jacket; he wore a green one in "God Rest Ye Merry Gentle-Mannequins."
  • Zeke's father from "The Belchies" appears as part of the group of tenants striking but doesn't have any lines nor is anything revealed about him.
  • The final act of this episode was originally going to be set back on Ocean Avenue. The kids find Bob hiding under his car instead of on the pigwheel ride. (see Behind the Scenes)
  • Calvin mentions throwing firecrackers at people, this references when he is first seen riding his golf cart in "Burger Wars" where he throws a firecracker at a passerby.
  • A swan pedal boat similar to the one used by Felix in "World Wharf II: The Wharfening (or How Bob Saves/Destroys the Town - Part II)" can be seen in the field where the old Wonder Wharf rides are.
  • This episode was watched by 2.44 million households.
  • During the End Credits Sequence, Mort's toupée nearly comes off due to the wind generated by the water balloon flying over his head.
  • In Hunger Games style, the script cover shows Bob aiming a water balloon at the viewer with water splashes in the background.
  • Tina doesn't speak for the first three minutes. Gene doesn't for the first five.
  • Mr. Fischoeder's housemaid Inga is mentioned for the first time, although she does not appear physically. She would go on to debut in "Mr. Fischoeder's Opus."

Goofs[]

  • It is unlikely that the carnival rides on Mr. Fischoeder's property would be in their assembled and upright state. Carnival rides fold down and are partially disassembled so that they may be easily transported by truck. If the defunct or obsolete rides had been transported from Wonder Wharf to Mr. Fischoeder's house, they would most likely have been left in their traveling configuration.
  • In the End Credits Sequence, Teddy's belt buckle is green.
