Trivia[]

  • Table read date: March 17, 2017.
  • This episode originally aired one year and one day after its table read date.
  • Gene refers to Teddy as Theodore, another strong implication that this is Teddy's full first name. Tina previously called him this in her "Lady Chatterteeth's Lover" essay in "The Gayle Tales."
  • The student next to Phillip Frond in the yearbook is named Mike Katzoff and is listed as the class treasurer.
  • Bob appears to be serving a customer strawberry ice cream whereas the ice cream machine usually only serves vanilla and chocolate ice cream. Bob also mentions that it doesn't serve strawberry in "Synchronized Swimming."
  • Rose refers to having made some Monchhichi mugs. Monchhichi is a line of Japanese stuffed toys that were made into a cartoon series that aired in 1983, the same year that the ceramics room burnt down.
  • The second consecutive episode to feature flashbacks to Mr. Frond's youth and it is confirmed that he did attend Wagstaff School after apparently being seen in the flashback in "Y Tu Ga-Ga Tambien."
  • Frond's campaign slogan, "May the Frond Be with You", is derived from the Star Wars catchphrase, "May the Force Be with You."
  • Mr. Frond said it has been 35 years since 1983, making it 2018. This means the series now takes place in a more recent year much like Seaplane!.
  • On the DVD cover of Season 8, Bob is assumably holding a burger with a clay plate his kids made in this episode.

Goofs[]

  • After Mr. Frond discovers the kids comparing the Wagstaff School hallways, the set of extras change from those just shown in the hallway they are in to those that were in the first hallway they compare. Large Tommy and Tracy Schwartz being among those extras from the first hallway.
  • When Rose is trying to remember where the ceramics room was, the school is described as having three floors, despite exterior shots showing it to have only two.
