  • Table read date: Unknown.
  • The title is a reference to Tina's news segment on Wagstaff School News, introduced in "Broadcast Wagstaff School News" called "The Tina Table." It also references the phrase "the tables have turned."
  • The episode was screened and teased at the premiere party for Season 15, with the computer monitor on The Tina Table's table appearing on the thank you card and a provided lunch box.[1]
  • The third episode to mention Jocelyn's birthday, the first being "The Hormone-iums," which she celebrates her birthday in, and "Tweentrepreneurs."
  • Starting with this episode, Mr. Frond has a computer on his desk.
  • Ms. Schnur looks at garden gnomes on her computer when Tina enters Principal Spoors's office.
  • Mr. Frond's "tech visionary" look, including the turtleneck sweater and stubble, references Steve Jobs, who is best known for co-founding the tech company Apple Inc.. The "iFrond" name is a reference to Apple products such as the iPhone, iPad, etc. Retake director Erin Humiston also made a drawing of Mr. Frond in the sweater, captioning it "Sili-Frond valley," with Silicon Valley being where Apple's headquarters are.[2]
  • While visiting Pam, Tina mentions that they had met a "a few times," referencing their encounters in "Beefsquatch" and "Family Fracas."
