• The title is a reference to Tina's news segment on Wagstaff School News, introduced in "Broadcast Wagstaff School News" called "The Tina Table." It also references the phrase "the tables have turned."
• The episode was screened and teased at the premiere party for Season 15, with the computer monitor on The Tina Table's table appearing on the thank you card and a provided lunch box.
