Trivia[]

  • Table read date: October 20, 2017.
  • The original title of this episode was "Futurpreneurs", as shown on the script cover. The title was most likely changed due to there already being a non-profit organisation using the term "Futurpreneur" in Canada.
  • A scene from this episode was screened at the show's panel at the 2018 San Diego Comic-Con International.[1]
  • This episode premiered at the earlier time of 8:28 under Fox's limited commercials experiment where commercial breaks were shortened into JAZ ("just a&z") pods, freeing up five minute slots every hour filled with branded content Fox Breaks.
  • First episode to be directed by Ryan Mattos.
  • The scene where Jocelyn operates the SodaSpurt machine while Louise is trying to talk is reminiscent of "Human Flesh" where Gene keeps firing the extinguisher while Hugo is trying to talk.
  • During the End Credits Sequence Tina is wearing the same businesswoman outfit she is seen wearing in her fantasy with Jesse in "Just One of the Boyz 4 Now for Now."
  • The shop beside Bob's Burgers is "Whole Lotta Shaker Furniture Going On" a reference to the song "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' on" and the pest control van "The Weevil Dead" is a reference to the Evil Dead franchise.

Goofs[]

  • Linda appears cooking her breakfast in the opening shot but a few seconds later when the view returns to the initial shot she has plated it and put away the frying pan in an unrealistically short amount of time.
  • Mr. Frond says that he got a cease and desist letter from a PBS lawyer over him selling Doctor Who scarves on Etsy. Doctor Who was only ever aired in syndication on PBS and it is the original broadcaster, the British Broadcast Corporation (BBC), that owns the show's copyright.
