Bob's Burgers Wiki

Trivia[]

  • The script cover, title, and plot are a parody of the movie Uncle Buck.
  • The episode was confused with "Slumber Party" when the former was announced in the TV listings. In some cases, it was both the title and the plot in the wrong listings.
  • First appearances of Jonas and Ranger Dainko.
  • The store next door for this episode's opening sequence "CARL'S PRE-OWNED INDOOR OUTHOUSES", is mentioned in this episode and appears in external shots outside the restaurant. Outside of the opening sequence the store next door is usually vacant.
  • Jen being shown in Paris means that this is the first time a scene has been set outside of the United States in the series canon. The kids being in Belize during "The Frond Files" is considered non-canonical.
  • JustGrillin's wife (dubbed Mrs. JustGrillin') wears a belt with a steak buckle.
  • This episode is at least the second reference to Teddy's therapist, Dr. Marjorie, the first being in the episode "Crawl Space". She is again mentioned in "The Cook, the Steve, the Gayle & Her Lover" and is finally seen in "Glued, Where's My Bob?."
  • Teddy struggles to sign Ranger Dainko's release form similar to how he struggled to sign the release Randy gave him to sign in "Sacred Cow."
  • This is the first episode to feature a guest appearance from Keegan-Michael Key, playing BeeferSutherland.
  • As a result of this episode's title, many publications and press releases often name Teddy as Uncle Teddy.[1]
  • Linda says the jacuzzi is open til 9:45 in the next scene when Bob and Linda are in the jacuzzi a sign behind them says Pool hours, 10:30AM - 9:45PM.
  • Teddy uses part of a full bar of a "Holly Trollies" chocolate bar to make his "Teddy Brûlée". Holly Trollies are the eponymous full bars from the episode "Full Bars."
  • Tina's purple dress from various episodes appears in her wardrobe when Teddy searches it.
  • In Uncle Buck fashion, the script cover shows Teddy knocking on a door, with the door being blocked by the Belchers and a chair.

Goofs[]

  • After Tina, Jonas, Clay and Marco go to the cove, Jonas's melodica becomes left-handed for the rest of the episode.
  • Yours Truly Stationery is three stories tall instead of two.
  • When Tina is talking to Jonas in front of Reggie's Deli, the menu board inside misspelled “beef” as “beff”.
  • Tina orders four sandwiches at Reggie’s Deli, but Jonas only delivers one sandwich to Gene.
